Questions before an Australian website or software project
Is Faith Forge Labs based in Australia?
We operate from the United States and work remotely with organisations serving Australia. This site explains the development work available for that audience; it does not represent an Australian office, local professional licence or on-site support team. The proposal sets practical review windows and delivery responsibilities.
Can we start with a problem rather than a specification?
Yes. Bring a description of one task and the point where it becomes difficult. A blank form, a public page or invented example records can help us understand it. We may need a scoped investigation before estimating a larger change, particularly when the cause depends on a private system or an inherited integration.
Do we need a new website if customers cannot complete an enquiry?
That depends on the cause and the condition of the existing system. A broken form connection, unclear service explanation or inaccessible control may justify a focused correction. A wider rebuild needs evidence of the limitations it would resolve. Our repair decision guide sets out how to compare those options.
Can you work with our current business tools?
Existing tools are part of the assessment. We inspect relevant account features, supported interfaces and the information that needs to move. We can then distinguish a configuration change, an integration and a requirement the provider cannot support. We do not promise a particular connection before checking its feasibility.
Should customers have a portal?
A portal is worth considering when people repeatedly need to see changing information, make decisions or manage several records. It introduces account access, permission and support work. For a one-off task, clearer messages or another suitable access route may be enough. The portal comparison examines both sides of that choice.
Will a booking request become a confirmed appointment automatically?
Only if that is the approved business process and the chosen system can support it. Some visits require coverage checks, inspection or staff acceptance. We distinguish the request, the staff decision and the confirmation in both the interface and notifications. Selecting a preferred time must not silently make a promise the business cannot keep.
How do you handle Australian time zones?
We establish where the appointment takes place and how remote participants should see it. The software should use maintained geographic time-zone rules for the actual date. Australian locations do not all follow the same seasonal clock rules, and the relationship with a US reviewer changes through the year. The booking guide includes dated examples and checks for reminders and calendar files.
Can a field application work without reception?
Offline behaviour must be specified and tested for the intended devices. Saving a draft, queuing a submission and completing an entire shift offline are different requirements. We agree what stays on the device, what happens to photographs and how the worker can tell that the office has received the report. A responsive page alone does not establish those capabilities.
Who approves prices, tax rules and sales terms?
Your business and its qualified advisers approve those requirements. We implement the agreed rules and trace them through the relevant screens, records and provider results. A payment integration or platform setting does not independently determine the correct commercial or legal treatment for your sales.
Do you need our customer database to prepare a proposal?
Usually a description and carefully prepared examples are a better starting point. If real records become necessary, the purpose, access, locations, retention and removal arrangements need explicit consideration. The overseas-access guide helps prepare that discussion. Your advisers determine the obligations that apply to the particular arrangement.
Can an AI helper answer customer questions or change their accounts?
Those are separate scopes. We can assess a bounded information task using approved material and representative questions. Changing a booking, authorising a refund or making a professional decision brings additional authority and consequences. We agree the permitted behaviour, review requirements and ways to correct or pause the tool before treating it as part of an operational process.
What determines the project cost and schedule?
The affected journeys, existing system condition, provider access, content readiness and review responsibilities all matter. A form with four visible fields may still require a complex staff workflow; a large information site may have simpler operations. Estimates should explain the actual work and dependencies. See pricing and scope for what to prepare.
What happens after delivery?
Your team receives the agreed operating and editing guidance, account responsibilities and support arrangements. Ongoing updates, new features, provider changes and recovery work need an identified owner. We discuss those duties before closeout rather than assuming that a general handover includes unlimited maintenance.
Send a project question if your situation needs a more specific answer.
