What direct ownership means

You will not explain the same problem to a salesperson, a project manager, and then a developer. I handle the first conversation, examine the existing workflow, write the scope, build the work, and stay involved through testing and handoff. When a trade-off appears, you can speak with the person making the technical decision.

This approach is a good fit for a business that has outgrown a spreadsheet, needs two systems to exchange information, wants a customer portal, or has an existing application that has become difficult to change. It is also useful when the problem is still unclear and the first job is to decide whether to repair, configure, integrate, automate, or build.

Working from the United States

Australia spans several time zones, so meeting and release hours are agreed for the actual people involved. Most progress does not depend on everyone being online together: questions, decisions, demonstrations, and test results are written down so your team can review them during its normal working day.

I do not claim an Australian office, local staff, or local professional qualifications. Where a project raises Australian legal, tax, privacy, accessibility, procurement, or industry-specific questions, the client chooses the appropriate adviser and I turn confirmed requirements into the system.

A practical first conversation

Bring the process that is causing trouble, the systems involved, who uses them, and what a better result would look like. You do not need a finished specification. The first useful outcome is often a smaller, clearer decision about what should happen next.
