Mobile field tools
Keep site notes, photographs and office handovers together.
Field work rarely happens at a comfortable desk with a perfect connection. We build mobile-friendly tools for visits, inspections, service records and other agreed workflows, with the working environment considered from the start.
Design around the handover
A worker needs to know which job they are completing, what information matters and whether the office has received it. The office needs a readable report and a way to see what is missing. We design both sides together.
A regional service scenario might include photographs, materials used, an access note and work that needs a return visit. The tool should make the next action visible without forcing a worker through irrelevant fields. Industry-specific sign-offs remain your responsibility and are reviewed with the appropriate professional.
Be clear about connection limits
We assess whether the project needs draft saving, queued submissions or a fuller offline application. Those options have different device, storage and support implications. A locally saved draft is labelled differently from a report received by the office.
- Job and visit forms designed for the intended devices.
- Photo handling and interrupted-upload recovery.
- Draft and submission status where required.
- Staff review screens and follow-up tasks.
- Connections to existing job or customer systems.
Test in the conditions that matter
Development checks are followed by agreed field acceptance using your devices and representative conditions. We do not treat a desktop test as proof of regional coverage or physical-device acceptance. Device access and a practical trial need to be included in the scope.
Tell us where the tool will be used, what phones are available and what currently gets lost between the site and office. The patchy-reception form guide is a useful starting point.
