Customer and member portals
Give people a useful place to see progress, documents and decisions.
A portal earns its place when a customer returns to do something useful. We build account areas for repeat tasks such as checking a job, approving a quote, exchanging documents or renewing a membership.
Choose the first task carefully
A property manager coordinating several sites may need a view of open work and outstanding approvals. A club member may need to renew and update contact details. An individual customer might be better served by a secure link than another permanent account. We make that decision before planning a large portal.
The design follows who may see and change each record. A branch user may see one location while head office sees several. A staff member who can upload a file may not be allowed to approve a commercial change. These rules are written in ordinary language for review.
Connect information without creating another conflicting list
We identify where jobs, payments and customer records are maintained. The portal can display relevant information and send agreed changes back to the owning system. Failed updates need a visible review route rather than a false success message.
- Account access and role-specific customer views.
- Document exchange with agreed access and retention.
- Quote decisions, request history and useful status messages.
- Membership renewal or repeat customer workflows.
- Staff administration and a practical support handover.
Plan for ordinary account problems
People forget passwords, leave organisations and change email addresses. We include those cases in the review. Security, privacy and any cross-border access questions are scoped for your particular information; specialist advice may be required.
Bring the repeat request your team handles most often. Start with our portal or email comparison and membership renewal guide if you are still deciding.
